5/3/06 – Lacy earns her Rally Novice Title under the guidance of co-owner Cora Pizzitola at the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America’s second annual Rally Trial under judge Harry Burke with a score of 91 and is now CH Voyager’s Capt Janeway’s Lace RN JH
5/3/06 – Luke earns his first leg in Rally Novice B at the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America’s second annual Rally Trial under judge Harry Burke with a score of 89
5/1/06 – Luke takes first place in the Hunting Dog Class at the Desert GSP Club NSS Supported Entry under judge Betsy Yates.

4/27/06 – Magic (U-AGII CH Homesteader's Dare to Dream JH RN AX NAP AXJ OJP CGC NAC NGC NJC RS-N GS-N) crosses the Rainbow Bridge after an extended fight with cancer since the early Fall. This was a very sad day for Voyager Kennels; Magic was a friend and companion that can never be replaced and represented a foundation to our interests in many sports and activities with our dogs. The good die too young.

4/9/06 – Rocky the Papillon earns his Rally Novice Title under Judge Dorothy Wysaski at Terry All KC with first place and score of 96(+) with an entry of over 30 dogs. This makes him U-AGII U-CD Aerien’s Colorado Rocket CD RN AX NAP OAJ NJP OAC OJC OGC CGC TDI
4/8/06 – Rocky the Papillon earns Leg Two in Rally Novice B under Judge Dorothy Wysaski at Terry All KC with a score of 84

3/4/06 – Jake completes his Junior Hunter Title at the Yucca German Shorthaired Pointer Club trial under Judges Kim Banales and Thomas Workman. This makes him Voyager’s Magical Flight JH

2/18/06 – Magic earns her Open Preferred JWW Title (OJP) at Colorado KC’s agility trial under judge Gayle George-Sackett with a score of 100 and earning a first place. This was the last appearance Magic made in any show or performance related event. She finished her career as “U-AGII CH Homesteader’s Dare To Dream JH RN AX NAP AXJ OJP CGC NAC NGC NJC RS-N GS-N”

1/29/06 – Magic earns her Second Leg in Open Preferred Standard Agility at the Pikes Peak Obedience Club’s agility trial under judge Mark Ouska with a score of 100 and earning a first place

1/1/06 – Jill gives birth to Nine Puppies – 2 dogs and 7 bitches – a nice start to the 2006 competition year. Due to this litter Voyager did not compete in December 2005 and delayed conformation competition in 2006 until early Spring. This litter helped soften the blow as we watched our beloved Magic deteriorate from an extended illness. Voyager will track the progress of six puppies from this litter of nine, and kept two: Tracy (Voyager’s Catch the Wind) and Joy (Voyager’s Windstorm).

9/14/05 – Tara is ranked #22 GSP in All-Breed points and is the only non-champion in the Top 50 as of 9/14 for the entire year

7/27/05 – Voyager says goodbye to long time family member Erin (U-AGI Jay’s Lucky Lady Erin CD OA NAJ NAC-V RV-N), who passed away today at an age of 15+ years of age. Erin was an important part of our household, had achieved one of two majors in the conformation ring, and was our first agility GSP. She was a therapy dog in the Pikes Peak Obedience Club program, and a successful obedience dog under the guidance of Karen’s Mom – Barbara Rooks. She will be missed greatly.
